Q: How long have you been doing makeup?

A: Our team has been working with makeup collectively for over 50 years.          Our Leader Jennifer has over 20 years experience alone.

Q: My wedding party has a variety of skin types, do you have                experience working with all skin types?

 

A: When you book with Applied Elegance for your wedding you are not just      booking makeup artists. Our team is made up of estheticians that have              extensive training in skin care.

Q: What makeup brands does your team use?

A: Our team uses a variety of brands to achieve your desired look. Brands          you will see in our kits include: Temptu, Viseart, KVD Vegan Beauty, Inglot,      RVB Lab, Blinc, Stila, Urban Decay, Mary Kay and Morphe.

Q: I have allergies, how does your team handle allergies?

A: We always ask about allergies before a service is performed. All of our              products are gluten-free and safe for sensitive skin. Please do let us                know of any allergies before we begin service.

Q: Do you book multiple weddings on the same day?

A: Each artist is booked only one bride per day. This insures your wedding           has our full undivided attention. 

Q: Do we come to you? Where are you located?

A: We are a fully mobile business and do not currently have a studio space.       Our team comes to you for all your wedding and spa services.

Q: Is there a travel fee?

A: Locations outside our service area are subject to a travel fee.                               Our current service areas include: Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo,                 Guelph, Fergus, Elora, Elmira, Stratford, London, New Hamburg, Ancaster       & Brantford. 

Q: Do you charge and Early Start fee?

A: Yes, we do charge a fee for start times earlier than 8am. This fee is determined by the number of artists your wedding requires and how early you want to begin service on your wedding day.

Q: What if I don't need everything listed in your experiences?

A: Not a problem, contact us to set up a consultation to discuss your                    wedding beauty needs and we will work with you to build an experience        that fits your vision.

Q: Can I add people to my experience?

A: Absolutely! Contact us to set up a consultation to discuss your                            wedding beauty needs and we will work with you to build an experience        that fits your vision.

Q: I want to book your Betrothed Experience but my partner                doesn't want services, can I share it with someone else?

A: You sure can! Some people choose to share their experience with their              maid of honour or their mom.

Q: I only want makeup &/or hair, do you offer this?

A: Yes we do. Check out our a la carte menu, or Set up a consultation with us to discuss your wedding beauty needs.

Q: Do you charge a deposit?

A: We charge a non-refundable retainer for all of our bookings of 25% of          your service invoice. This secures your wedding date.

Q: Can I request changes to my contract after I sign it?

A: Change requests will be accepted up until 2 weeks before your wedding          or event. Any approved changes will be initialled by both parties of the          contract agreement.

Q: What if I need to cancel my contract?

A: Cancellation of your contract will be accepted up until 2 weeks before        your wedding or event. Our retainer fee is non-refundable.

Q: What if I have to postpone my wedding due to Covid19?

A: COVID19 is a situation that is affecting everyone. To help our brides we              are currently booking weddings with flexibility. Should you need to              postpone your wedding due to COVID19 please contact us to reschedule        your wedding date. We are not charging any extra fees for date                        changes nor are we charging inflation should you need to move to the        next calendar year.
